I downgraded my Sapphire Reserve to a Freedom Flex because the fee and all the perk juggling just felt like too much. Now I’m second-guessing it. I miss the lounge access even though it wasn’t always super useful, and most of my travel is NYC, LA, and Florida.
Anyone here ever cancel the CSR and then come back to it? How long do you have to wait to be eligible for the bonus again? And if it’s not worth re-upping, is there another card that fills the same gap without the headache?
