I’m going on an Alaskan cruise next month on the Emerald, departing from Vancouver, and trying to figure out how much US cash I should carry.
I’ve already got Princess Plus and prepaid gratuities, so most things should be covered. My plan is to use a credit card with no foreign transaction fees for almost everything and avoid using cash as much as possible, but I’m thinking it’s still smart to have some USD on hand just in case.
Also wondering about the casino. Can I charge spending there to my room, or do I need to bring cash for that?
