Canadian Wildfire Smoke Chokes the Midwest Again – Anyone Else Affected?

I’ve been traveling through the Midwest lately and the haze from the Canadian wildfires is no joke. Chicago looked like it was stuck in a sepia filter. Air quality was flagged as red in Minnesota the worst level and even places like Michigan, Indiana, and Vermont were on alert. It's wild how much this smoke travels, pushed by consistent upper-level winds straight into the U.S.

Honestly, it messed with my plans for hiking and being outdoors. The AQI warnings said even healthy people could feel it. Has anyone else had to change their travel plans or daily routine because of the smoke? Are you noticing symptoms like shortness of breath or eye irritation while out? Wondering if it's worth carrying a mask again when hitting new cities.
