I am trying to understand if it is possible to use the 4th night free benefit with IHG Hotels & Resorts in a situation where I only actually need 3 nights.
For example, I plan to stay Monday to Wednesday nights and check out Thursday morning. However, I will arrive early on Monday around 8am, which normally means waiting for check-in.
Would it work to book starting from Sunday night so that I effectively have the room available when I arrive Monday morning, and also have that extra night count as the “4th night free”?
Has anyone tried this approach, and does it actually work as expected or are there restrictions that prevent this?
