Hey all, my friend and I are flying from Orlando to New York City in October, and we’re hoping to use my dad’s flight credit from Spirit Airlines to help pay for it. The flights we're eyeing are nonstop Spirit flights around October 10 to15, booked directly through the Spirit website. The issue is that Spirit requires the passenger who owns the credit to be on the booking.
We’re wondering, is it possible to add him as a passenger just to unlock the credit, even if he doesn’t actually show up for the flight?
Or could that get us flagged or banned from future bookings? Has anyone tried this or run into issues doing something similar?
Really don’t want to waste the credit but also don’t want to break any rules. Any help appreciated!
