Quick question about how this works with SAS tickets.
My husband and I are flying Milan → Copenhagen → California on the way home, with about a 23 hour layover in Copenhagen. I was thinking about surprising him by spending the last part of our trip in Scotland, which would mean flying Scotland → Copenhagen separately and then joining the Copenhagen → California flight.
So basically we’d miss the first segment of the return (Milan → Copenhagen) and only show up for the Copenhagen → California leg.
Is this something SAS would allow if I call them ahead of time? Or would skipping the first flight automatically cancel the rest of the ticket?
