I’ve seen that United’s official guidance says the ottoman in a Polaris Studio seat can be used by “another Polaris passenger.” However, I’m curious about real-world experiences. Has anyone tried inviting someone from Premium Plus to sit there during the flight?
Do flight attendants actually check whether the person joining you is also seated in Polaris, or is it more relaxed in practice? I’m wondering how strictly this rule is enforced, and whether they would actually ask someone to leave if they weren’t eligible.
