Can you add one checked bag for a family booking?

I am trying to book flights from London to Sweden for three people, and we only need one 20 kg checked suitcase.

When booking with airlines like British Airways, easyJet, and Norwegian Air Shuttle, it looks like the system either adds baggage for everyone or none at all during the initial booking.

Am I missing something, or is there a workaround? Ideally, I would like to book all passengers on a basic fare and then add just one checked bag for a single traveler.

From what I understand, airlines usually require the same fare type for all passengers in one booking, but it may be possible to add baggage later through “manage booking” or after purchase.

Would appreciate any tips or the best way to handle this.
