I will be flying home a bit after a surgery, which will need me to keep my legs elevated whenever possible. I have booked row 1 first class bulkhead window seat. My spouse is in the aisle seat. Would an inflatable footrest like in this photo be allowed to be used once we are at cruising altitude? It could be stowed during takeoff and landing and could be my carry-on item. I just don’t want to purchase it if they won’t let me use it, but I’m trying to find a way to keep my legs elevated during the flight as much as possible. this is a flight within the United States if that makes a difference no idea if it does.
