I was born in 2009, so I am currently 16 and will turn 17 this year.
My mother brought me and my younger siblings from Sweden to Djibouti in December to visit family, but we have ended up staying much longer than planned.
Now I want to visit my older sister, who is 19 and lives alone in Sweden in the same apartment we used to live in.
I want to know if I can simply book a return flight and travel using my Swedish passport to visit her, or if I need a consent letter signed by my parents.
Since I am a Swedish citizen traveling back to Sweden, I assumed it would be straightforward and not raise concerns about things like trafficking, but I am not sure if airlines or border control would still require permission documentation.
