My wife is accompanying me on a business trip to Las Vegas this week. My employer has booked me in first class, while we used miles to purchase an economy seat for her on Delta Air Lines.
I feel uncomfortable with the seating arrangement because I fly frequently for work, but she is not a confident flyer and would likely benefit more from the comfort and service in first class. I am wondering if it is possible to switch seats so she can take my first class seat while I move to economy.
Would this type of change be allowed if requested onboard, or is there a formal process to handle situations like this?
