Flying Newark to Chennai tomorrow as a student. My ticket shows one checked bag, one cabin bag, and it also mentions a personal item. I want to bring my laptop bag as the personal item, but without the laptop inside. It’ll be around 2 to 2.5 kg.
Someone told me Lufthansa doesn’t allow a personal item if you already have a cabin bag, but their website says personal items are allowed. Getting mixed info and don’t want trouble at the airport. Has anyone flown this route recently and brought both a cabin bag and a laptop bag?
