Can hotel points post faster for AA status?

Had someone ask if there’s a way to speed up hotel loyalty points posting before a flight. Looks like the consensus is nope, those usually take days, sometimes weeks. Dining and shopping portal miles post faster, and surveys can give a quick top-up, but hotels seem stuck in slow motion
