I’ve got a Southwest flight credit that expires in a couple months and I’m trying to use it efficiently. I want to book two one way flights, something like A to B and then C to D, instead of a round trip.
Each one way is roughly half the value of the credit, and together they’re a bit more than the original credit. What I’m not sure about is whether booking the first one way will eat the entire credit, or if the leftover balance stays available to use on the second flight.
Has anyone done this before and knows how Southwest handles remaining credit balances?
