Booked economy with points, took a $1100 upgrade to business on a 14.5 hr flight, then realized we aren’t together. It’s PAL on a 777 with that 2-3-2 setup. I’ve got 5A (window, bulkhead) and she’s in 3D (aisle next to the middle).
Plan is ask at check-in, then gate. If that fails, I’ll politely see if 3E wants my 5A window or if 5C wants my 3D aisle. If folks say no, all good, we’ll sit separate.
Anyone tried similar on PAL with success?
