SAN to LHR flight (about 10 hours) apparently had no business class meal service at all. Economy and premium economy still had their normal food.
Passengers in business were sent a $30 voucher through an app called Swiipr to buy food at the airport before boarding. The issue was that many airport places wouldn’t split payments, so if food cost more than $30 the voucher didn’t fully work.
The flight also left around an hour late, reportedly to give business class passengers time to go find food in the terminal before departure.
