Hello,
I am planing a Trip to New Zealand in February. 25M. I will arrive in Auckland on the 3rd of February and will leave the 30th. I would like to know what is the best way to travel on a relatively low budget.
My idea is to land in Auckland. See the South Island and then take the Ferry from Wellington to Picton. Then go to Nelson, Abel Tasman National park, Kaikoura, Franz Josef, Wanaka and Queenstown.
Will it be difficult to take the ferry from Wellington? Is it best to concentrate on one Island ? What are the best transport options? Flexipass, Camper, Camping ?
Should I concentrate only on one island and fly directly to the South Island ?
And for accommodations ? best go to a comping , Airbnb or Hostels?
