On July 26, 2025, British Airways flight BA1410, an Airbus A319 en route from London Heathrow to Belfast, declared a general emergency approximately 30 minutes after takeoff due to a suspected cabin depressurisation issue. The pilots transmitted a 7700 emergency squawk and circled momentarily before safely diverting to Manchester Airport, where emergency crews awaited its arrival. A faulty sensor was later identified as the cause. All passengers disembarked without injury, and a replacement aircraft was dispatched. Travelers experienced a delay of roughly three hours before completing their journey to Belfast.
