Booked a place that clearly said private bathroom during checkout, but right after booking the confirmation showed it was actually shared.
Reached out immediately and the hotel just told me to pay more to upgrade. Booking.com said they couldn’t do anything without the hotel agreeing. Even tried PayPal with screenshots and got denied there too.
Now the listing has been “fixed” after the fact, which is even more frustrating.
Feels like I’m just stuck paying for something I didn’t book.
