Had a weird situation with Booking.com and a hotel. There were a bunch of issues getting my credit card to go through before the stay, but it finally processed right before they were about to cancel.
We stayed all 3 nights, no issues on property, and I can see the charge on my card.
Now after the stay, I get an email saying the reservation was canceled and that I’ll be receiving a refund “if applicable.”
Has anyone seen this before? Is Booking actually going to refund it even though we already stayed and were charged, or is this just some backend glitch email?
Not sure if I should sit tight or start calling people.
