Had an awful experience with Booking.com and I’m done with them. We booked a place that turned out to be completely fake. The address didn’t exist and the contact details went nowhere.
I contacted Booking.com support three times and got absolutely nowhere. Despite clearly being a scam listing, they didn’t help and didn’t refund us. We ended up stranded in Dubai during peak holiday season with a dog, which made finding last minute pet friendly accommodation incredibly stressful and expensive.
Booking.com took our money, promised they’d sort it out, and then just… didn’t. Learn from my mistake and double check listings very carefully. I won’t be using them again.
