Booked flights through Booking.com. Airline changed the schedule and the new times didn’t work since the first leg would land after the connection had already departed.
I contacted Booking.com support and they told me there was nothing they could do, but gave me a phone number to call the airline directly.
That number turned out to be a scam. The person answered pretending to be the airline. I later realized it wasn’t legitimate at all.
Booking.com is now denying responsibility even though they provided the contact details and told me it was the airline.
Just a warning to double check any phone numbers yourself through the airline’s official website. Don’t assume the number a third party gives you is safe.
