Posting this as a warning to anyone booking flights through Booking.com.
My airline changed my original flight, so I had to go through Booking.com to fix it. I asked for a specific alternative flight on a different date and was told they’d “look into it.”
Then nothing. Over 24 hours of silence with no update at all, while prices are obviously going up and seats disappearing.
When I followed up, the agent was rude and basically brushed me off saying the airline has thousands of requests and it takes time. That was it. No help, no reassurance, nothing.
It really feels like once they’ve got your money, they don’t care if you actually get on a plane. Has anyone else dealt with this excuse? I’m worried the flight I need will sell out while they drag their feet.
