Booked a hotel for Friday and chose PayPal. Booking.com said they’d automatically charge it a few days before the stay.
Just got an email and see it in the app too saying they couldn’t charge my PayPal and I need to pay manually. Looks legit, not a scam or anything.
Anyone else had this happen before? I don’t keep a PayPal balance, but the card linked to it has more than enough funds, so I’m confused why it failed.
Trying to figure out if this is just a PayPal quirk or something I should worry about.
