Looking at booking first class on the HA 787 from Seattle to Honolulu at the end of February. From what I’ve read, the 787s are eventually supposed to move to more international flying, so I’m a bit nervous about an equipment swap.
There’s still a 3:45pm SEA to HNL flight showing as a 787, but I’ve also seen posts from people saying they’ve gotten aircraft change notices recently.
This would be a big deal for my kids. They’re huge 787 fans and absolutely loved first class on the Hawaiian 787 last summer from LAX to HNL. Trying to recreate that experience for them.
Does anyone have a sense of how stable that 787 assignment is this close in? Or is it basically a coin flip and I should expect an A330 swap?
