Booking A380 business from Bali… but is it actually flying?

I’m about to book business class DPS to NYC via Dubai for August, planning to transfer credit card points to Skywards.

Then I saw news about Indonesia banning the A380. But Emirates’ site is still showing the A380 for Bali to Dubai.

Does anyone know what’s actually happening there? Is the A380 really operating that route or is the schedule just not updated yet?

Also, if I book expecting the A380 and it gets swapped to a 777, do they refund miles or give any kind of compensation? And is the 777 business noticeably worse than the A380?

Trying to decide if I should lock this in or wait.
