I’m planning a 3 night stay in November and need 5 rooms total. I have enough points to fully cover 2 rooms, and the other 3 will be paid in cash.
Is there any advantage to booking all 5 rooms under one reservation versus making 5 separate bookings under my IHG account?
One couple in our group isn’t 100 percent confirmed yet, so there’s a chance I might need to drop a room. I’ve also read that reward pricing can fluctuate, and if points rates drop the only way to get the difference back is to cancel and rebook. Not sure if that gets messy if everything is tied together.
Would love to hear what others have done in a similar situation.
