Booked a Korean Air flight from Tokyo (NRT) to Busan (PUS) through Booking.com for a trip to Japan and Korea later this year. The ticket was marked non-refundable, but Korean Air said it should still qualify for a full refund if cancelled within 24 hours of booking.
The problem is the flight was accidentally booked one week later than intended, which conflicts with another flight leaving Korea.
Tried contacting Booking.com support several times within the 24 hour window, but customer service wasn’t taking calls for flights more than 5 days away because of the high volume related to the situation in the Middle East.
Multiple calls and live chats were attempted until after midnight, but no response came before the 24 hour window passed. Now wondering if the refund will still be honored since there’s proof of trying to cancel during the allowed period.
