I booked a trip through SAS, but I noticed the return journey includes a Lufthansa flight from Germany to Copenhagen, and then an SAS flight from Copenhagen to the US.
We paid for checked baggage in advance. I’m worried about the 2-hour layover in Copenhagen and whether the baggage will be transferred automatically between Lufthansa and SAS, or if we’ll need to collect and recheck it, which could make the connection stressful.
Has anyone dealt with a mixed SAS and Lufthansa itinerary like this? How does baggage handling usually work in this situation?
