I have a quick question because my friend and I are a bit stressed about a recent booking.
We booked a stay at The Delaney Hotel in Orlando through Booking.com for a 4-day trip. However, after completing the reservation, we noticed that the hotel requires guests to be at least 21 years old to check in.
We are both 20 years old (from Switzerland), and we didn’t consider this earlier since the legal age for adulthood is 18 in our country.
The booking is also non-refundable, which makes the situation more concerning for us.
We wanted to ask:
Is there any chance the hotel might make an exception in cases like this?
Would contacting the hotel directly (by phone or email) before arrival help?
Has anyone had experience with Orlando hotels enforcing or waiving the 21+ check-in rule for international guests or short stays?
Any advice or similar experiences would be really appreciated.
