Just booked flights from Canada to South Africa in business class through Air Canada. Total was over $22K, so yeah, not exactly a budget trip.
Only after booking did I find out that seat selection is included on every airline in the itinerary… except the British Airways leg. BA wants another $400 plus just so my wife and I can sit together on an 11+ hour flight.
That honestly feels ridiculous for a business class ticket at this price point. Lesson learned, I guess. Next time I’ll be paying a lot more attention and probably choosing Lufthansa instead.
Pretty unimpressed right out of the gate.
