We are going on a Virgin Voyages cruise in a couple of months for our honeymoon. It will be our first time sailing with them. We booked a lock it in rate without fully understanding the restrictions, especially around when restaurant reservations can be made.
We were able to add the Splash of Romance package earlier and were planning to use the early boarding benefit to secure dining reservations if we could not get them at the 15 day mark.
However, after checking in today, we noticed that the Splash of Romance package is no longer attached to our booking. It had been showing in the app for weeks, so I am not sure what happened, but now it is sold out and we cannot add it again.
We are now concerned about dining options. Are we likely to have trouble getting reservations and end up relying mostly on the Galley for meals? We booked directly with Virgin and did not use a travel agent, so we are unsure if there is anything we can do at this point besides checking in case the package becomes available again.
Any advice would be appreciated.
