Bombardier Sees Strong Tailwinds in South America’s Jet Market

Just read that Bombardier now makes up nearly 30% of all business jets flying in South America that’s 650 out of 2,200! They recently showcased their Challenger 3500 and Global 7500 at the Catarina Aviation Show in São Paulo which apparently had high-profile visitors like Cristiano Ronaldo. I’ve always been curious how bizjet demand differs by region, and it sounds like Brazil’s growing wealth, especially in agribusiness, is a major driver here.

While Bombardier skipped LABACE again this year, they seem focused on the quality of visitors at Catarina instead. Anyone here flown on or worked with Bombardier jets in South America? I’d love to hear about how support compares between local centers like MAGA Aviation and their big Miami base. Also curious if the upcoming Global 8000 is going to shake things up even more.
