I’ve flown on both the Boeing 787 Dreamliner and the Airbus A350, and each has its charm. The 787’s huge windows and quiet cabin make long-haul flights surprisingly pleasant, and it’s been my ride on some unique nonstop routes that weren’t even possible before it came along. But the A350 feels just a bit more spacious in economy, and I find it noticeably quieter during cruise, the lighting and cabin design feel a bit more refined.
Airbus might not have sold as many A350s yet, but every time I’ve flown one, it’s been a smooth, comfortable experience that rivals and sometimes beats the Dreamliner.
For me, the choice comes down to route and airline, but I’m curious, if you had both options for the same trip, would you go 787 or A350?
