Bizav on the Rise Again: North America Sees Uptick in 2025 Flight Activity

Looks like business aviation in North America is picking up again! After a 2.5-year slump, flight activity rose 1.7% in the first half of 2025, with charter operations rebounding and fractional flying soaring 7.9%. I fly Part 135 for work and definitely noticed busier runways and packed FBOs lately. Midsize jets seem to be leading the charge, while large cabins just barely ticked upward.

Globally, business aviation flights topped 2.27 million in the first half, with North America still dominating. Europe is lagging a bit, but May and June saw gains. Anyone else feeling this shift in the air? Whether you're crew, a frequent flyer, or just tracking the trends, I’d love to hear how this compares to what you’re seeing.
