Booked about 2k in flights through the Bilt portal and used my Amex Platinum, and it worked exactly how I hoped. Bilt gave me 1x on the linked card spend, and since they ticket directly with the airline, Amex coded it as airfare and hit me with the full 5x MR.
So 2k spend turned into 2k Bilt + 10k MR. Nothing crazy, but a clean little stack I never see people talk about.
