Best way to use around 160,000 Amex points for travel

I have roughly 160,000 American Express Membership Rewards points and I want to use them for an international trip with my partner.

Can these points be transferred to any airline, and are some airlines better value than others when converting points?

I often hear that Amex points are best used for travel, but I am not fully sure how to maximize their value.

I would also appreciate destination suggestions departing from London. I am not considering the USA or Australia since I have already visited those. I am open to places like India, Sri Lanka, the Maldives, Central America, or South Africa, and my dates are flexible.
