I’m planning something similar and went down this rabbit hole a while back… biggest thing is adding connections. More segments = more XP, even if it feels a bit inefficient.
Also yeah, avoiding US domestic legs can help since those earn less XP compared to long-haul segments. Routing through places like CDG or other European hubs usually works better.
Cabin class obviously makes a big difference too, but that gets expensive fast.
