Might be a dumb question, but I really want to fly on a 747 at least once before they disappear.
I know Lufthansa is one of the last airlines flying the 747-8, and I was looking at Mexico City to Frankfurt. Prices surprised me though. Everything I’m seeing is well over $1,000 CAD.
Are there any other routes that tend to be cheaper if your main goal is just flying the 747? Doesn’t have to be fancy, just want the experience.
I also see that some airlines still operate the 747-400. Would that be a better or more affordable option, or are those just as limited now?
