Hi! I’m a 20-year-old female currently studying in Wales, originally from the US. After my exams, I’ll have about 3 weeks in June to travel around Europe before heading home.
I’m interested in visiting some of the more well-known tourist destinations since this is my first time exploring these countries, but I’m also open to slightly less touristy places if they feel safe and enjoyable.
I’m especially interested in dance scenes and local communities, so places with nightlife, social activities, or cultural events would be a big plus.
Countries I’m considering include France, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Czechia, Slovenia, Poland, and some Scandinavian countries. I realize I can’t realistically cover everything in one trip, so I’m trying to narrow it down to the best and most comfortable options for solo travel as a young woman.
I’ll be staying in hostels and traveling on a relatively low budget, around $2500–$3000 USD, with some flexibility up to about $4000.
