Just got back from a trip where I finally checked out Alaska Airlines’ North Satellite Lounge in Seattle, and wow it might have ruined me for regular airport waits. I grabbed a barista-made latte, settled into a seat by the huge windows, and watched the runway action like it was my own private show. The fireplace gave it this cozy cabin vibe, even though you’re in the middle of a bustling terminal. The famous Alaska pancakes? Totally worth the hype for an early morning departure.
I’ve also been to their San Francisco lounge in Harvey Milk Terminal 1, and that one felt like stepping into a boutique hotel lobby. Big windows, local sourdough with spreads, and even little private TalkBox booths if you need to make a call. Both are top-notch, but now I’m curious for those who’ve been to Anchorage’s expanded lounge, is it really as scenic as they say?
