This is honestly my worst flying fear. Six hour BOS to SEA flight and a full grown bed bug crawling across your leg 20 minutes after takeoff? I would’ve lost my mind.
If this is legit, Delta needs to pull that aircraft immediately. That’s not a “sorry about that” situation, that’s a full hazmat-level response. No one should be worrying about bringing bed bugs home from a plane.
Really hope the crew took it seriously and that passengers were taken care of. I’d be washing everything on high heat and side-eyeing my suitcase for weeks.
Absolutely brutal start to a long flight.
