Okay, I’ll admit when I think of crystal-clear water, my brain goes straight to the Caribbean or the Med. But this list was a good reminder that the U.S. has its fair share of shockingly clear spots, from Florida’s Gulf Coast to Lake Tahoe yes, a lake!. Some of these places look like postcards, minus the international flight.
Kind of makes me want to finally check out Dry Tortugas or even those Florida Panhandle beaches I always ignored for being too close. Anyone got a favorite clear-water U.S. beach that actually lives up to the photos?
