This is such a nightmare situation. Bags stuck in Frankfurt, United says nothing useful, Turkish says they never got them so not their problem. Meanwhile the bags are actually needed for a deployment, not just a vacation.
I feel for the OP here. Once luggage falls into the gap between two airlines, it feels impossible to get anyone to take ownership. Phone support just reads scripts and nobody can actually push the bag to the next carrier.
Long shot posts like this shouldn’t even be necessary, but honestly I get the desperation. Hope someone on the ground sees it and can help move things along.
