Flying home from Cancun and got some really rough news mid-flight, so I was crying on and off the whole way. By the time we landed I was a mess.
As we were deplaning, I noticed one of the pilots was a woman, I’ve never seen that in person before. I told her and asked if I could take a picture (cringe, I know). She was super sweet and said yes, then asked if I wanted a cockpit tour. I didn’t even know that was allowed anymore.
She walked me through a couple of the safety checks, let me sit in the captain’s seat, and honestly just brought me back to life for a minute. My boyfriend filmed it for me but I was too overwhelmed to catch her name.
