I’m looking at booking Cologne to Edinburgh on the BA website, connecting through Heathrow, and I’m seeing a warning that says “Change airport. Transfer not included in fare.”
What exactly does that mean in practice? Is this just a terminal change (T3 to T5), or does it mean something more serious like having to collect bags, go landside, and re check them?
Basically trying to understand if this is a normal Heathrow terminal transfer or if I should avoid this itinerary altogether.
