Booked three award tickets with miles and canceled within 24 hours due to a change of plans. The flight was months away, well outside the 7 day window. Cancellation was done over the phone.
The miles were refunded immediately, no issue there. But it’s now been almost four weeks and I still haven’t seen the refund for the taxes, which was around $950 USD. There’s nothing pending on my bank side.
I called Air France last week and they claim the refund was already processed, but the money still hasn’t shown up.
For anyone who’s done an award refund like this, how long did the taxes actually take to come back? Has anyone ever had one that just never showed up?
