Currently on the new Acela First Class, seat 2A. Heads up: rows 1–5 are right next to the rear engine with just a wall and service door between. It’s loud way louder than the old Acela. Even after the conductor re-shut the door, it stayed pretty noisy.
If you’re booking First Class and want a quiet ride or plan to sleep, I’d skip those first few rows.
