I’ve been trying since last night to book a flight on Hawaiian using Atmos points and keep hitting the same checkout error every time:
“The request was unsuccessful… -1990”
Tried multiple times, same result. Switched to the Alaska site to book there, same error. Gave up and tried again this morning, still broken.
Called Hawaiian and even the phone agent couldn’t get past the error. She looped in IT, no luck, and then sent me over to Alaska saying they have different access to Atmos points and should be able to book it.
Alaska tried. Same exact error.
I’ve booked award flights with Hawaiian plenty of times before and never ran into this. First time trying since Alaska took over the program and it’s been a mess. On top of that, the same trip now costs way more miles than it did back in Dec 2024.
Pretty frustrating to have points sitting there and literally no way to use them.
