Atmos card nightmare, recurring fraud for months

Just need to vent. I’ve had the same fraudulent charge popping up on my Alaska/Atmos card since MAY. It’s from a utility company in my area, one I’ve never used, never had an account with, doesn’t even serve my address.


Every time it happens, I report it, BofA cancels the card, sends a new one, and “blocks” the vendor. And like clockwork, three weeks later the charge hits again.


I’ve gone through something like eight new cards in six months. And I can’t keep updating all my autopays over and over. BofA straight-up told me there’s nothing they can do to fully remove a fraudulent vendor from an autopay stream.


Loved the card, but this whole thing has been a nightmare. I’m probably going to cancel and maybe revisit later when the frustration wears off.
